Graduate of the Software Guild's intensive 12-week certification course in Java web development. During the program, I developed the ability to complete projects quickly and efficiently in order to meet tight deadlines. The final project involved working collaboratively with a team, exchanging ideas, and utilizing SCRUM methodology to ensure effective work flow. I am eager to continue learning and developing my skills to contribute to a software development team.
Following the Software Guild, I secured a 6-month internship at Quicksilver Express Courier. During this time, I applied the skills and knowledge acquired from the Guild to an Agile development environment with DevOps practices. My primary responsibility was to refactor the existing customer account and order entry website to a more up-to-date version.
What I do in my free time
When I'm not working, I like to have a blast and get my heart pumping! I love going to the gym and lifting weights, pushing my limits, and feeling the burn. I also enjoy cycling around the beautiful city of Minneapolis, taking in the sights and breathing in the fresh air. My furry best friend always joins me on my walks and we have a great time exploring new places and sniffing out new adventures. I also love to groove to live music with my friends, attending concerts and festivals, and dancing the night away!
